Small Updates Coming Soon

Hi everyone! We wanted to share what we're working on to make RateAds better.

What We're Building

As a small team, we're focused on making the basics work really well before adding fancy features. Here's what's coming:

Better Search (February)

Right now, searching for ads can be tricky. We're working on:

Finding ads by brand name
Searching by product type
Filtering by date
Showing more relevant results

Nothing fancy - just making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Mobile-Friendly Website (March)

We know many of you use phones to browse RateAds. We're making the website work better on small screens:

Bigger buttons that are easier to tap
Photos that load faster
Reviews that are easier to read
Rating forms that work on phones

We can't afford to build apps yet, but we'll make sure the website works great on your phone.

Email Notifications (April)

Some of you asked to know when someone comments on your reviews. We're adding simple email notifications for:

Comments on your reviews
Replies to your comments
New reviews on ads you've saved
Weekly summary of popular ads (optional)

You'll be able to turn these on or off anytime.

What We're Fixing

We're also fixing problems you've told us about:

Known Issues We're Working On:

Sometimes the save button doesn't work - fixing this week
Photo uploads can be slow - improving in February
Some ads show up twice in search - fixed!
Rating form resets if you click back - fixing in February

Based on Your Feedback:

Making the rating categories clearer
Adding a "draft" option for reviews
Letting you edit reviews after posting
Making it easier to find your old reviews

What We Can't Do Yet

We're a small startup, so some things will have to wait:

Mobile apps - Too expensive right now, but the website will work great on phones
Video reviews - Our servers can't handle video yet
AI features - We're focusing on basics first
Multiple languages - English only for now
