Why We Have Guidelines
Keeping reviews helpful for everyone
Our review guidelines help make sure all reviews are honest, helpful, and respectful. When everyone follows these simple rules, the whole community benefits from better information about advertisements.

Good Reviews Include:

Reviews Should Not:
- • Be fake or misleading

Writing Helpful Reviews
Tips for reviews that help others
Watch the Whole Ad
Don't rate after just a few seconds. Watch the entire advertisement before writing your review.
Be Specific
Instead of "I liked it," try "The music matched the visuals perfectly and made me feel excited."
Explain Your Ratings
Tell people why you gave certain star ratings. What made it creative? Why wasn't it clear?
Stay Balanced
Try to mention both things you liked and things that could be better, even in great ads.
What Happens to Rule-Breaking Reviews
How we handle guideline violations
If a review doesn't follow our guidelines, here's what we might do:
- Ask for changes: We might email you asking to update your review
- Hide the review: Reviews that break rules may be hidden from public view
- Remove completely: Fake reviews or inappropriate content gets deleted
- Account restrictions: Repeated violations may limit your ability to post reviews
Our goal is always to help you write better reviews, not to punish you. Most issues can be fixed with a simple edit.
Examples of Great Reviews
Learn from these good examples
Good Example:
"This Nike commercial really caught my attention with its creative use of slow-motion running scenes. The message about never giving up was clear and inspiring. The music built up perfectly with the visuals, making me feel motivated. However, the product shots at the end felt a bit rushed. Overall, it would definitely make me consider buying Nike shoes."
