Data Retention
How long we keep your data and when we delete it.
We keep your data only as long as we need to. After that, we delete it. Here is the full retention schedule.
Active Account Data
Your reviews, comments, and settings stay as long as your account is open. You can edit or delete any of them at any time from your profile page.
Closed Account Data
When you close your account, we delete personal data within 30 days. Reviews you posted become 'by a former member' so they stay useful to readers without identifying you.
Logs and Backups
Security and access logs roll off after 90 days. Encrypted backups are kept for one year, then destroyed. We never restore deleted accounts from backups.
