Sensitive Content
How we handle content that could upset some viewers.
Some content has value but can hurt some readers. Sensitive content rules give you control over what you see while keeping space for honest reviews.
What Counts as Sensitive
Graphic injury, animal harm, frank talk about loss, and detailed crime stories are sensitive. They are allowed with warnings, but we hide them by default for new accounts.
Your Settings Control What You See
Open Settings → Privacy → Content Filters to choose your level. You can hide all sensitive content, see warnings only, or see everything. The default is warnings on.
Posting Sensitive Content
When you post a review or ad with sensitive content, add the warning label in the editor. Posts without a needed warning may be removed and re-posted with one.
Quick tips
- •Review your filter settings every few months.
- •Use the warning label even when in doubt.
- •Check on yourself if you read a lot of hard content.
- •Mute topics you do not want to see in your feed.
