Advisory Board
The outside experts who help shape our trust and safety work.
Our advisory board brings in experts from outside the company. They tell us when we are wrong, point out blind spots, and help shape new policies.
Who Is on the Board
The board has nine members from different fields—privacy law, online safety, accessibility, child safety, and free speech. They are paid for their time and have public bios on our site.
How Often They Meet
The board meets four times a year, plus special sessions when we plan a major change. We share an agenda before each meeting and notes after.
What They Decide
The board does not make rules; they advise. We are not bound by their advice, but when we go a different way, we explain why in our transparency report.
Quick tips
- •Read board bios on our advisory page.
- •Suggest topics for the board through the contact form.
- •Read board meeting notes in the transparency report.
- •Apply to join when seats open up.
