Blocking Users

How to block someone and what blocking does.

Blocking is the simplest way to keep someone out of your space. Here is what blocking does, what it does not do, and how to use it well.

What Block Does

Once you block a user, they cannot see your reviews, send you messages, or reply to your comments. They are not told they are blocked. The block works across web and mobile.

What Block Does Not Do

Blocked users can still see public reviews from a logged-out browser. They cannot interact with you, but they can read what you post in public. Use Private Mode for stronger control.

Mass Block Tools

If a person is using many accounts to bother you, our team can apply a 'pattern block' that catches new accounts from the same person. Reach out to support to set this up.

Quick tips

  • Block early; do not engage.
  • Save evidence before you block.
  • Use Private Mode for extra cover.
  • Reach out to support for repeat issues.
