The Digital Millennium Copyright Act lets rights holders ask us to remove content that uses their work without permission. Here is how the full process works on RateAds.
Filing a Takedown Notice
Send a notice to dmca@rateads.us. Include the link to the post, your contact details, the work you own, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief in your claim.
What Happens Next
We review the notice within 24 hours. If it is complete, we hide the post and email the poster. We share your contact info with them so the two of you can sort it out.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you posted something and it was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notice. After 10–14 days with no court order, the post comes back online.
False Claims Have Costs
