Appeal Process

How to appeal a decision about your account or a post.

We try to make fair calls. We do not always get it right. The appeal process gives you a way to ask a fresh reviewer to look at our decision.

When You Can Appeal

You can appeal any post removal, content label, or account action. There is no charge, and the appeal does not affect your ability to use other parts of the site while it runs.

How to File

Open the email we sent about the decision. Click 'Appeal'. Tell us why you think the decision was wrong. Add screenshots or links if they help.

What Happens Next

A new reviewer reads the appeal within five business days. They look at the post, the rule, and your reason. Most appeals get a written reply with the next step.

Quick tips

  • Be specific—'I disagree' is not enough.
  • Quote the rule you think we got wrong.
  • Stay polite; the new reviewer is not the original one.
  • File only one appeal per decision.
