Enforcement Actions
What we can do when someone breaks the rules.
Our enforcement options range from a small note to a permanent ban. We pick the action that matches the rule break and the user's history.
Warnings
First-time, low-harm rule breaks usually get a warning. The user gets an email that explains what was wrong and how to avoid it next time.
Content Removal
Specific posts that break the rules are removed. The user can edit the post and re-submit it without losing their account.
Suspension
Repeated or serious rule breaks lead to a suspension. Suspensions last from a day to a month. During the suspension, the user cannot post, comment, or message.
Permanent Ban
Severe behavior—like targeted harassment, hate speech, or doxxing—leads to a permanent ban. We block the email, IP, and payment fingerprint to prevent return accounts.
Quick tips
- •Reading our community standards prevents most issues.
- •Use the appeal process if you think we made a mistake.
- •Repeat warnings count toward stronger actions.
- •Severe one-time acts can lead to instant ban with no warning.
